Program overview
Either party disputing an authorized treating physician's MMI or impairment determination files a Notice and Proposal and Application for a DIME within 30 days. Rule 11 was updated effective April 2025.
Fees
Rule 11-5 establishes a fee schedule for DIME physicians, based primarily on the designated body part.
Colorado runs a DIME programme and rates on edition set by agency (Rule 11). The rating standard is set by the jurisdiction, not by the examiner, so the same clinical findings can produce different numbers across the 10 states profiled here.
